Whimisical folk art forged pieces are made from time to time. I get bored with doing the same old thing, so to spice up my blacksmithing fun, different items are forged a few at a time.
4" X 4" textured 3/16" steel plate, this is the basis for some of my forged items. It makes for an interesting pillar candle stand, decorative washer for log and post and beam homes.

Cowboy copper kitty pizza cutter, about 7 1/2" X 10", The handle is a used horseshoe, mild steel blade, horseshoe rivets on face and tail.
Copper Cat fridge door magnet. Usually about 1.5" in diameter. This has a strong magnet superglued on the back.
Hand forged cat reclining cat key holder/paperweight. The cat body is forged from 3/8" X 1 1/4" X 5" mild steel. The tail is about 5 1/2" tall.
Forged steel 3" X 3" clock frame. The hole in the middle is bored out to 1 3/8" for the small press in clocks with a 36mm (1 7/1 6") clock face diameter) found in hobby stores and on the internet.
